Joanie, what a clever idea. All this and solitary pleasures too - I could read so much into that stanza! I especially love wild flowers/surfacing,/slower than butterflies...

Ingenious Joanie! Thought this was quite fab. Have you arranged the books so that they're in order on your shelf? How cool would that be?!
Cheers,
Nik.

Arranging the titles on your bookshelf would be like taking Magnetic Poetry one step further. Inspiring.

Fabulous, Joanie! Wild flowers surfacing slower than butterflies is sublime. Now please start again with the book in my line of sight, Reader's Digest Complete DIY Manual ;)

I'll give this a try, and hope the results are half as impressive as this. Brilliant!

On the subject of Magnetic Poetry:
wild Italy
flowers surfacing
slower than love
butterflies of promise
solitary in the sun
a place unknown
disguises us
between pleasures
just one
of golden summer
to be the destination
a word bridge
the best

Hi Paul. This made me smile, almost wistfully. It's lovely. Interesting where things can lead, eh?

Joanie, Paul, how utterly extraordinary. I read Paul's version, went back to the original and then returned to Paul's. I could go on like this all day. Perhaps they belong together - the effect is like an elusive shifting back and forth. Wonderful.

Joanie, Nell,
I'm a bit sporadic these days as my Email Notification refuses to work.
This magnetic poetry idea is quite compulsive isn't it?
Reminds me of Fuzzy Felts. Remember them? All the different pictures from the same box of shapes.

Fuzzy felts?! Oh Gods - I do remember them - there was something else with a picture painted in black on glass and sweet papers that you had to crinkle and place behind it. And painting by numbers and basket weaving with funny coloured weaving strips. I loved all that stuff! (When I was very very young, that is...) But before I get this post deleted for going off topic, I agree - Magnetic Poetry is compulsive!

Nell, YES, YES, YES, to all that! To ALL that!

The crinkled sweet wrappers and black glass were always ladies in crinolines.

Joanie,
It's only attracted this much attention because it's good!
Nik.
PS Forgive me for being a dumbass, but what is magnetic poetry? Have I missed something? Or is it just me being me, ie rather slow!
