Richard Roebuck  
 


Richard was born in Huddersfield, Northern England in 1970. He has a degree in Theology from the University of Oxford and is a trained teacher currently teaching Drama, History and Religious Education at a secondary school in Bradford, West Yorkshire. The Queen of New Orleans is his second musical venture following Cinderella- a Gothic Fairytale, with Stephen Bradnum, which received critical acclaim upon its premier in 2004. He is continuing the development of The Queen of New Orleans with Neil and has begun work on the book and lyrics for his third musical:Studio 54 - set in 1970’s New York with a story loosely based on Shakespeare’s ‘Othello’.
