There is also a great free screenwriting software called Scripped Writer. The website is www.scripped.com. It works just like Final Draft but is run straight out of the browser with nothing to install!

I have to second rbucks here and say that http://www.scripped.com was an interesting experience. It's got a nice look, very technically apt, although none of the budgetting stuff of movie magic.

There are some Screenwriting Contests at the moment, but they seem to have just gotten started.

Wondering where it'll go from here.
