The £20,000 Glen Dimplex New Writer of the Year Award has been won by WW member Sally Nicholls for Ways To Live Forever (Scholastic).

The category winners (each £5,000) were:
(Fiction) Allan Bush, Last Bird Singing (Seren)
(Biograph/Non-fiction) Nia Wyn Blue Sky (Seren)
(Children's) Sally Nicholls Ways to Live Forever (Scholastic)
(Poetry) Will Stone Glaciation (Salt)
(Irish language) Simon O Faolain Anam Mhadra (Coisceim)

The awards are run by the Irish Writers' Centre and Glen Dimplex, the electrical heating business.
