Guild agrees rates increase with TNC theatres

The Writers Guild has agreed an increase of 2.75% for rates for writers working with TNC theatres (the National Theatre, the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Royal Court). The headline rates are now:

Commission Fee Ł3,442 (except for Royal Court Upstairs Ł2,569)

Delivery Fee Ł3,442 (except for Royal Court Upstairs Ł2,055)

Acquisition Fee Ł3,390 (except for Royal Court Upstairs Ł1,541)

Total Fee (relevant to non-commissioned Plays only) Ł10,274 (except for Royal Court Upstairs Ł6,165)
