Snowbooks win Indie Trade Publisher of the Year
Posted on 10/03/2008Small independent publisher and WriteWords member Snowbooks has won the Independent Trade Publisher 2008 at the Independent Publishing Awards. Snowbooks, who will be five years old in April, publish both fiction and non fiction 'and are always keen to receive submissions via email to submissions@snowbooks.com," says Snowbooks' MD, Emma Barnes.
Emma says "Snowbooks are the proud publishers of Mothernight, written by WW member Sappholit, aka Sarah Stovell, and would love to add more WriteWords members to our forward list. At the moment, horror, fantasy, steampunk, general fiction and historical fiction are right up our street. Reading times at the moment are six weeks to a couple of months, but we get back to authors as soon as humanly possible."
Their publications include The Red Men by debut novelist Matthew De Abaitua, The God's End trilogy by Michael McBride, and the bestselling Zombie trilogy by David Wellington. Forthcoming titles include The Affinity Bridge by George Mann and Zuzu's Petals by Sue Hepworth. More information is on their website, http://www.snowbooks.com and they maintain a regular blog at http://www.snowbooks.com/weblog.
