After graduating with a Maths degree, I emigrated to London with my new wife. Spent the next 30 years working with computers in lots of different industries in UK and then back here, in Ireland. Wrote my first short story at the age of 13. Finally got back to writing in 2007, and since then, I've spent all my time practicing and learning the craft, reading, and obsessively searching for my "voice". I have about 35 short stories completed and 3 novels, The Sign of the Cross, The Black Orchestra and St Patrick's Day Special - featuring Ben Jordan. I'm working on a Ben Jordan sequel and a YA dystopian novel. A serial hypochondriac, my other hobbies include golf, although I'm now too athritic to play the game, and have to content myself with watching the professionals on TV. I have 3 children and 2 grandchildren (twins) living in Australia.
