Daliso Chaponda is a very promiscuous writer unable to commit to a genre. He has published science fiction in Apex Digest and Lenox Avenue, mystery in Ellery Queen and the Malawi News, and pretentious literary stories in Antithesis Common and Montage. To make things worse, Daliso is also the writer and performer of a particularly deranged breed of stand up comedy. His one man shows ‘Feed This Black Man’ and ‘Don’t Let Them Deport Me’ terrified a number of press members into writing good reviews. Daliso’s unbalanced demeanor has also frightened viewers of numerous comedy events such as the Just For Laughs Festival, the Leicester Comedy Festival and CBC Television’s ‘Crossing the Main’. He is presently based in the United Kingdom.
