Born Adrian Courtney Smith in Margate Hospital, 1977, Courtney spent his formative years in the picturesque seaside town of Broadstairs before setting off around the globe in the search for happiness.
Now, having married and planning to settle back in his native England, Courtney is embarking on a career as a playwright/director and is writing his first novel.
Although he writes predominantly in the humour genre he is also akin to the occasional tragedy. Themes vary from politics to fantasy and his style varies from Naturalism to Surrealism.
He is currently seeking representation.
