Ifor Thomas has performed his poetry all over the UK from the Golden Lion in Newport, Pembs to the Tunnel Club in London. A winner of the John Tripp prize for spoken poetry, a member of the Wales slam team that beat England on a wondrous night in Bristol, he was shortlisted for the Wales Book of the Year in 2006 for ‘Body Beautiful’. Recently anthologised in ‘A 100 Welsh Poets 1900 to 2000’. ‘A real 21st Century voice… the kind of poetic voice we need in these loud times. Listen to it. Listen to it now.’- Ian MacMillan
