As a psychotherapist, seconded to the Army to work on behalf of the welfare of young soldiers, I get to listen to a huge variety of personalities. This doesn't faze me, as I started my career in psychotherapy in an attempt to understand the idiosyncrasies of human nature and the application of this process became a full-time job in itself.
Taking on a part-time Masters degree while working full-time, encouraged me not only to write better academically, but also to be flexible and focused. Now there's an oxymoron if ever I heard one! The project for my degree, was focused on the emotional interactions between the civilian and military working environments, for which I received a Distinction.
