Word Count: 150

What can you say in 150 words? You can attempt to express the ineffable, to challenge the vast ubiquitous void which surrounds us, or even to sing a funny little ditty. Words are essential to human existence, yet somehow too crude, too crass to truly express us. Who are we? Why are we here? Words alone can not offer us the sanctuary of a meaning, an understanding, a brief moment of happiness amid the tumult of life.

Yet, hope is just a word, a word that you've heard in a place not too dissimilar to this, at a time not too far from now. And this is what words are: hope. They are a means of expression, of communication, of identity. Within the spectrum of words lies two warring households: the four-letter words of hate, and the three words of love. Words are universal. Words are us. These are words.
