She grasps at reality,
trying to connect with
shapes or forms or tastes
which consolidate
her efforts. Sounds
are tangible but fail
to give her total
satisfaction. Thoughts
spin through space
never landing long enough
to make any sense. She
lives her life,
mother
wife
daughter,
always doing
exactly
the right thing.
She grasps at reality
but her fingers never touch.
