Inimitable self

The realisation of difference
strikes true target,
as the brain accepts it's
inimitable self.
Cold steel vices squeeze
sense and sensibility,
from chemically disorganised neurons.
Events and emotions disjoint
a cacophony of confusion.
Hearts bleed misunderstood rejections,
as a body aches to be held.
A soul screams from a
dungeon of hate,
trapped in a cycle of
ever recurring fate.
