The Drowning Fish
His body thrashed against the gravel,
lidless looks searching for wet world.
Rainbow scales fell from his star-jumps, skin
glittered down a rivers flanks. Blushing Trout
sucking hard on earths poisonous atmosphere.
Here drowning fish becomes my alien and I his.
