Unborn Tears

All I feel is numbness,
The calm within the pain,
An anger that overwelmes me,
And a want for someone to blame.
I stare into an open wall,
At a face that I cannot see,
With crying eyes my world has died,
And no one understands but me.
A little soul is lost inside me,
And all my edges are torn,
The screaming and the fears take over,
When the unborn child is born.
Your red-stained heart stopped beating,
And your tiny hand waved goodbye,
To the connection that brought us together,
And the one that let you die.
At night when everything is quiet,
And I am lying in my bed,
To dream is only the beginning,
It is waking what I dread.
The calm within the pain,
An anger that overwelmes me,
And a want for someone to blame.
I stare into an open wall,
At a face that I cannot see,
With crying eyes my world has died,
And no one understands but me.
A little soul is lost inside me,
And all my edges are torn,
The screaming and the fears take over,
When the unborn child is born.
Your red-stained heart stopped beating,
And your tiny hand waved goodbye,
To the connection that brought us together,
And the one that let you die.
At night when everything is quiet,
And I am lying in my bed,
To dream is only the beginning,
It is waking what I dread.
