Love can be unfair
When it comes not in a pair.
Like unbalanced scales
Full of sorry tales.
It weighs down us Lovers
In favour of our dear Others.
With our single heavy hearts
Love can tear can us apart.
We shower our Loves with compliments
In return, little adoring sentiments.
Our Loved Ones need not work,
Whilst we Lovers have to lurk,
For the attention of the other.
Oh (why?) do we bother?
Love can be unfair
When it comes not in a pair.
When it comes not in a pair.
Like unbalanced scales
Full of sorry tales.
It weighs down us Lovers
In favour of our dear Others.
With our single heavy hearts
Love can tear can us apart.
We shower our Loves with compliments
In return, little adoring sentiments.

Oh (why?) do we bother?
Love can be unfair
When it comes not in a pair.
