Through this Journey of self discovery
It is a time of navigation
Whilst the storms are wild and unruly still I know they guide me
To where I need to be

That place of confrontation where the waters are deep and dark
Swirling undercurrents in a sea of sharks
Leaving me unbalanced
With thoughts of capsizing, drowning me with shame

Through this journey of self discovery
The waves may crash and break
The twilight within my soul obscures the light which would bring new hope
As the darkness becomes complete, drifting more gently I fall to sleep
I sail into calmer waters
