The naivety of youth
Can be stolen in a flash
Dark doors and secrets
With no possible way back
Those corridors of shame
Which lurk within your mind
Evil lowering the blinds
To be shielded from prying eyes
Those Eyes that are the windows to your withering soul
Bare witness to trauma that could never be told
You live it and breathe with no going back
How is it possible to ever get your life on track?
Hard, but not impossible, you find a place inside
To lock away and capture in an unused corner of your mind
Deep with your psych you know you can’t return
To unlock would be suicide to whom you have now become
Can be stolen in a flash
Dark doors and secrets
With no possible way back
Those corridors of shame
Which lurk within your mind
Evil lowering the blinds
To be shielded from prying eyes
Those Eyes that are the windows to your withering soul
Bare witness to trauma that could never be told
You live it and breathe with no going back
How is it possible to ever get your life on track?
Hard, but not impossible, you find a place inside
To lock away and capture in an unused corner of your mind
Deep with your psych you know you can’t return
To unlock would be suicide to whom you have now become
