Vomit-fulls of Thought
by Jibunnessa
Posted: Sunday, April 20, 2003 Word Count: 121 Summary: I was pounced on in Peru by somebody I should have been able to trust. This is what I wrote that evening. |
I
feel
sick
and
I shudder.
Vomit-fulls of thought spew out of my eyes.
They
are
wide
open.
And yet,
even
without
the nothingness of the dark,
I see the uncleanliness before me
and tears
stream out
of every surface of my skin.
I cannot
cover
my face,
And scrub
my body.
The dirt
seeped through,
I smell
the wetness
And the lascivious tongue breathing fire.
And rip to shreds the flesh that cloaks the carcase of my thoughts.
I
am
sick!
And vomit
cloaks
the tears
that cloak
the fury
that cloaks
my eyes.
I smell
the wetness.
I smell
the lascivious tongue.
I sense
the stench before my nostrils
And the odour
across my body
And the sound
of dripping
in my ear
And the clamp
around my chest.
I
am
sick!
