Word Count: 55
Summary: For the composite challenge...

What then, to mortals reveal,
the purpose of their earthly life?
Watched from alabaster halls,
their hope, their haste, their strife.
Shall they know what lies ahead
beyond their final day of life?

Revealed in conversation,
they have not understanding
nor ability to comprehend
knowledge of their demanding.
In ignorance shall they remain,
supplications notwithstanding.
