Or Else

Word Count: 89
Summary: Our bones disintegrate or else.......

They will drag our skeletons
From their cupboards
And make them dance
Half-naked, for all to see

And in our swirling tango
Our cheek bones pressed
Each gigotted to the other
Sockets, side by side

We press ahead

The squeezing wheeze
Of everyman's bandoneón
Yet our hearts sadly lost
In empty sunken chests

And blown from tibia and fibia
The sound of flutes
Our tiresome string section
Just some tendons and sinews

And so....
With every breathless step
Our bones transform to music
To which they, our audience, aspire
