Through the marshes,
Ongoing journey unfolds,
With the way back non-existent,
Not an option, not anymore,
Just forward, onward,
Pushing through,
Toward the promised land,
Where ground is solid,
Standing strong beneath my feet,
Somewhere out there, in the faraway distance,
Beyond imagination,
On the stretch of all conception,
So unknown, yet, so familiar,
Like home,
Like a long forgotten home,
Abandoned long ago, yet, always kept at heart,
Like a soft breath in the peace of tranquility,
Always there, wherever I go,
Whatever hell I traverse,
Whatever marsh I am lost inside,
Always there, guiding the way,
A star in the dark void,
Swaying to the rhythms of an eternal universe,
Pulsating, vibrating, resonating,
Calling me home;
Calling me home...
