Mood Change

Summary: This poem represents the struggle to emerge from depression. It is overblown and stylistic because the journey is more in hope than reality! Wishful thinking.

The thunder rumble rolls through shadowy skies
heaving its charged dark clouds to sadder climes

Leaving the lightening spirits to suspend
the dreary doubts dragged sobbing to their end.

And in that bright lit break between the pain
bleak feelings bleached and scattered for that time

Uplifted, strong and hopeful, you may climb
to sunnier peaks above the miserable rain.
