Life without him

The Lonely Place
Echoes shook the silence,
Breaking through the calm;
Tremors cursed throughout me,
Stopping any thought.
The world is oh so lonely
When death robs us all,
The grief was overwhelming
Scarcely could I even bear its burden
His death was instantaneous;
He felt no pain,
They try to relive my mind,
But my thoughts are still the same.
My life is not worth living without him cradled in my arms.
