Flash Poetry #9: The Red One

Hard to explain but it's about the links between spirituality & quantum physics & what that might mean for us. Highly recommended. So I wanted to take a quote from that - do what you want with it! It is: 'How far do you want to go down the rabbit hole?' |
Of I course I took the red one
You shouldn't have to ask
I've spent my life asleep here
I wouldn't go and pass
The chance to be awake for once
To grasp the thorn of choice
My desert may not quite be real
But there I have a voice
A strength the herd can never
Quite understand, or grasp
Of course I took the red one
You shouldn't have to ask
You shouldn't have to ask
I've spent my life asleep here
I wouldn't go and pass
The chance to be awake for once
To grasp the thorn of choice
My desert may not quite be real
But there I have a voice
A strength the herd can never
Quite understand, or grasp
Of course I took the red one
You shouldn't have to ask
