I wanted to capture a wave,
shaving-foam-white
with Harpic-green, dolly-blue
coloured sea beneath

and watch it roll and toss
in my fingers, feel its
power to wreck ships
and claim lives.

But I knew
I could never
hold this Cirein Croin
in my hands.
