Red
yellow
green
underneath
shaded
clouded
planet
that suddenly
stops
spins
snaps
its own stem
clean off
it
falls
from the tree
smacks
Isaac Newton
in the eye
a blue poppy
grows out of his socket
and his white curls
drop
loosen
like
blankets in wind
while
fairies
of dandelion heads
cry and fill
childrens hair
and apple cores
rot in fastforward
and new seedlings
push open young toes
as they eat eat eat.
