Happiness is a Blue Sky

Happiness is a Blue Sky,
Loneliness is a Stickleback in a Jam Jar,
Sorrow is a chipped Wedding Ring,
Hope is a bird flapping a broken wing.

Loneliness is a Stickleback in a Jam Jar,
Funny is a Clown with no life insurance,
Hope is a bird flapping a broken wing,
Irony is a drawing pin stuck in a pencil.

Funny is a Clown with no life Insurance,
Crowded is the air inside a balloon,
Irony is a drawing pin stuck in a pencil,
Tomorrow is a bully who rules with fear.

Crowded is the air inside a balloon,
Sorrow is a chipped Wedding Ring,
Tomorrow is a bully who rules with fear.
Happiness is a Blue Sky.

Phantom Pantoum

Kevin the Ghost wished the Smith’s would leave,
The Tourists always asked the same questions,
Kevin thought yesterday was a better day for flying kites,
Blood is redder than it used to be.

The Tourists always asked the same questions,
The Clairvoyant said her senses were dulled by time,
Blood is redder than it used to be,
The Smith’s were always complaining about the cold,

The Clairvoyant said her senses were dulled by time,
Kevin the Ghost was bored by time,
The Smith’s were always complaining about the cold,
Obama won by a wide margin, said the TV.

Kevin the Ghost was bored by time,
Kevin thought yesterday was a better day for flying kites,
Obama won by a wide margin, said the TV,
Still, Kevin the Ghost wished the Smith’s would leave.

Now that is a form I have never tried to write. Respect!
