Avis Hickman-Gibb is a newly established writer; living in rural Suffolk, England with her husband, one son and two cats. She gained a BSc. in Environmental Chemistry more years ago than she cares to admit and worked in the fledgling computer industry whilst still a babe-in-arms. She then moved on to work in "The City", before retiring with honours to pursue less stressful activities. She's yet to find any.
She’s had stories published in Every Day Fiction, Pygmy Giant, Twisted Tongue, Backhand Stories and Shine! Magazines - so far, with stories in Bewildering Stories, The Ranfurly Review and Boston Literary Magazine coming out soon.
She is currently busily working on her first book of short stories, but finds herself addicted to writing flash fiction.
